In-Person Modality
the traditional way!
Our In-Person Modality (IP) offers the traditional mode of learning where the teacher and students meet in the classroom of NCD Integrated School to engage in thorough discussion of the lecture. As such, this refers to the conventional method of education where a teacher presents information to students in a structured setting, within a physical classroom.
Students enrolled in this program is mandated to attend all classes, exams and activities in-person, at the NCD Integrated School Inc.
In NCD Integrated School, the IP modality promotes the following:
-
Lecture-Based Instruction: Our lessons would involve the teacher delivering information through lectures, supported by textbooks and supplementary materials;
-
Face-to-Face Interaction: Learning occurs through direct interaction between the teacher and students, as well as among students themselves;
-
Use of Classroom Resources: Resources such as whiteboards, textbooks, handouts, and educational tools are used to support learning.
-
Group Activities: While primarily teacher-led, this modality will include group discussions, projects, or activities to enhance learning.
Home-Based Education Program
Online Distance Learning
Our Home-Based Education Program (HBEP) is one of the online distance learning devised by the Department of Education. As provided in Deped Order No. 22 s. 2024, Distance Learning refers to a learning delivery modality where learning takes place between the teachers and learners who are geographically remote from each other during instructions, these includes; Modular Distance Learning (MDL), Online Distance Learning (ODL), Television (TV)/Radio-Based Instruction and Blended Distance Learning. In the case of NCD, we only offer Online Distance Learning. Our HBEP follows the curriculum required by DEPED.
Students enrolled under this program are mandated to:
-
Attend the teacher-led live classes via our video conferencing platform. Such attendance require the student to always keep their cameras open;
-
Participate actively in all online activities, academic or non-academic;
-
Submit their exams, quizzes, projects, assignments and similar deliverables online;
-
Purchase and use the hard copy of the books issued by the school;
-
Follow the rules and guidelines with regard to the conduct of examinations either through recitations, handwritten or online-based submissions.
Our HBEP program is not an alternative to or is similar to Homeschooling. By definition, homeschooling involves the parents in educating their child at home. Their curriculum and activities are given by their homeschool provider. On the contrary, the curriculum of NCD is the curriculum mandated by DEPED and the teacher, through live classes, will be the one to educate and instruct the student.
